New Book Coming Soon
In late 2026, my book Couple Therapy for Reproductive Grief: Helping Couples Heal After Infertility and Loss will be published by the American Psychological Association (APA).
Couple Therapy for Reproductive Grief: Helping Couples Heal After Infertility and Loss
This work brings together years of research, clinical practice, and lived experience to offer therapists a compassionate, practical framework for supporting couples as they navigate infertility and reproductive loss while rebuilding connection and intimacy.
Reproductive grief is a quiet, often invisible heartbreak, but its impact on couples can be profound. This book provides therapists and mental health professionals with a roadmap for understanding the unique emotional and relational toll of infertility and loss.
Drawing from mindfulness, emotion-focused approaches, and years of clinical experience, I outline strategies to help couples:
Recognize and validate the spectrum of reproductive grief
Reconnect through mindful attunement and emotional responsiveness
Navigate conflict and decisions during treatment and loss
Rebuild intimacy and shared meaning in their relationship
This book offers tools that therapists, counselors and mental health practitioners can use to support couples through one of life’s most difficult journeys, and to help them find healing, hope and deeper connection.
